Is Nuvobee a medical app?
No. Nuvobee is an informational food-guide tool — it is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Its suggestions are not a substitute for advice from a physician, registered dietitian, allergist, or other qualified health professional. Always consult your care team before making dietary changes, especially if you have a serious health condition or take medication.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Nuvobee subscriptions are managed entirely by Apple. To cancel:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions.
- Find Nuvobee and tap Cancel Subscription.
You can also cancel from the App Store: open the App Store, tap your profile picture, tap Subscriptions, and follow the same steps. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until then.
How do I get a refund?
For subscriptions purchased through Apple, refund requests go directly to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. For Lifetime purchases, email us at hello@nuvobee.com within 14 days of purchase — we offer a no-questions-asked refund.
How do I delete my data?
Your health profile and history live only on your device — there is no cloud account. To delete everything:
- Open Nuvobee and tap the profile icon.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Start fresh.
This removes all locally stored data instantly. You can also clear Nuvobee's data by going to Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Nuvobee → Delete App.
My menu scan gave a wrong result — what should I do?
Nuvobee reads menus using AI and may occasionally miss an ingredient or misread a dish name. Always cross-check with restaurant staff, especially for allergies. If you notice a consistent error pattern, please email us with a description so we can improve the model.
Why does Nuvobee need camera access?
Camera access is used only when you tap “Snap a menu”. Nuvobee does not access the camera at any other time, does not store your photos, and does not upload them anywhere except Anthropic's AI API to generate your analysis (and only when you explicitly request it).
What happens to my health data?
Your health profile (conditions, allergies, medications, etc.) is stored entirely on your device. It is sent to Anthropic's API only when you actively request an analysis — and only to personalise that specific response. We do not store it on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Does Nuvobee have a free version?
Yes. The core features — menu scan, dish lookup, and waiter card — are available for free. Nuvobee Plus adds unlimited scans, full language translation, and personalised picks across your entire health profile.
I restored my purchase but my subscription isn't showing.
Tap Restore purchase at the bottom of the subscription screen. If it still doesn't work, make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID used for the original purchase. Email us at hello@nuvobee.com if the problem continues.
